The formally constituted pan-European political parties, also known as Europarties, are organizations that operate across the European Union. These parties are distinct from the political groups in the European Parliament, though they are often closely associated. Here are the main pan-European parties:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Party of European Socialists (PES)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Party (ALDE)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. European Green Party (EGP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Party of the European Left (PEL)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. European Conservative and Reformist Party (ECR Party)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Identity and Democracy Party (ID Party)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. European Free Alliance (EFA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. European Democratic Party (EDP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. European Christian Political Movement (ECPM)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    These parties are recognized and partially funded by the European Union. They work to promote their respective ideologies at the European level, coordinate strategies among national member parties, and campaign during European Parliament elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Not all pan-European parties are pan-European<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Among the pan-European parties, none are represented in all 27 EU member states. However, some have a broader presence than others. Here’s an approximation of their representation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
